This 36 roadster had a 39F McCulloch on it,only one belt?
I spoke with the owner and he fired it up so I could hear if there was any whine. It was silent. mind you it was at Idle. He only used the one belt with the gen and off set on the left hand side and my McCulloch M39 has provision for three belts plus another for the generator. The gen offset and the belt tension is on the right hand side. Anyway it seemed to work well and he drove  from California to Victoria so it must be OK.

I am seeing more and more 17 and 18 inch wheels on some of these traditional cars.
# 118 was a real beauty!
#118 had a canvas covered deck? I touched it and it was not covering a skin at least it felt that way so maybe  the inner structure was just covered with the canvas.
This 32 is an original a survivor of survivors

This 29 had a lot of very old items,a flat bell speedboat type wheel, big high clearance wheels
Nice Hallock style wind screen,E&J headlights.Should start taking closeups of the engines.

Deuce Day Victoria BC July 21.
Here is a nice car, looked like an old time build.

Qualicum Beach Speed and Muffler

Hello,

Welcome to the first post of Qualicum Beach Speed and Muffler. Traditional Hot Rods!
We are heading for the third Deuce Day in Victoria BC, Canada. It is on July 21, 2013.

I will drive my 1927 Ford T touring  to the event.

Here is next year's engine for the Hot Rod! A '35 Flathead with an early ROOF intake.
Canadian aluminum heads and a couple of '81's. Should be good enough  for the 2100 lb car.

Lots of Photos to follow after Deuce day.
